When looking at the rest of our home, this fireplace feature wall just wasn’t elevated to the level of the rest of our spaces, so I knew it was time for a total demolition. I knew that a slat wall would provide some beautiful detail while keeping the look clean and simple.

We are getting ready to do an install for one my clients, and he absolutely loves the natural look. While picking out the furniture for his family’s home, I kept that in mind, and I am so excited about what I was able to find!

While most people use the change of seasons for the opportunity for a fresh new look, changing out a mantle doesn’t have to be just a seasonal occurrence! Every year after the Christmas decor comes down, I am faced with the challenge of giving our kitchen mantle a facelift. Challenge accepted!
